Flat map vs mountainous map

As the title says guys, what do u prefer, a flat map (just like my server is now) or a map with hills/pools/sand/random environment etc?

Both, as in have an area 4 ppl that want mountains and a area where ppl want flat.

Flat is much better for building enviroment but if there was like normal random generated place like quarry whit not so flat land would be ok too.

it could be a mountainous map with large flat areas for lots of empty lots, kind of like city's with roads connecting them all together
